🟧 Connect OANDA to the bot

For US traders. Takes about 5 minutes. Start with fake money first.

What you need

A Trading Armour licence (to open the terminal).
An OANDA account. A free practice account (fake money) is best to start.

1 Make an OANDA account

Go to oanda.com.
Make a free practice (demo) account. It uses fake money, so nothing can be lost.
Later, when you are happy, you can use your real OANDA account the same way.

2 Get your OANDA token

Log in to OANDA.
Open My Account → Manage API Access.
Press Generate.
Copy the long code. This is your token. Keep it secret — it lets the bot trade your account.

3 Connect it in the terminal

Open the terminal and press the 🤖 bot button (the BOT pill at the top).
Press the 🟧 OANDA tab.
Account: pick Practice (fake money) or Live (real money) — it must match the token.
Paste your token.
Press 💾 SAVE & CONNECT OANDA.

You will see “✅ Connected to OANDA” and your balance. Done!

4 Start the bot

In the same window, go down to 🤖 AUTO TRADE.
Set Trade on → 🟧 OANDA (forex).
Press 🤖 AUTO TRADE NOW in the top bar and say OK.

The bot now watches the main currency pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY…). When it sees a good setup it buys or sells, puts a stop loss on OANDA, and closes the trade by itself. This works while the terminal tab is open.

5 Run it 24/7 (tab closed, computer off)

In the bot window, find ☁ 24/7 SERVER BOT.
Press 🔑 Save OANDA key to server.
Press ▶ Start DRY RUN on OANDA first — it trades with pretend money so you can watch.
When you like it, press ■ Stop, then ▶ Start LIVE on OANDA.

Now the bot runs on our server day and night. Open the terminal any time to see its trades and log.

Stop the bot

In the tab: press ■ STOP AUTO TRADE.
24/7 bot: press ■ Stop (trades stay open with their stop loss) or ■ Stop & close positions.

Good to know

Start with Practice. Only use real money when you are happy with the results.
Forex is closed on weekends (Friday evening to Sunday evening, New York time). The bot waits.
US rules: leverage up to 50:1 on main pairs (20:1 on others). Set Leverage in the OANDA tab (10 is a calm start).
Daily Loss $ in the OANDA tab stops the bot for the day if it loses that much.

Problems?

“OANDA refused the token”	Copy the token again. Check that Practice / Live matches the account you made the token for.
Bot is on but no trades	Normal. It only trades when it sees a good setup. Forex is also closed on weekends.
Buttons BUY / SELL say “use AUTO TRADE”	Right — with OANDA the bot does the trading. For a manual trade, use OANDA’s own app.
“Hedging is on”	US accounts normally have it off. The bot only holds one trade per pair.
